Is there a bottom on the lower bed for a mattress to sit on or does it sit directly on the floor

Hello.  Unfortunately we cannot modify the bunk bed because it's safety tested as designed.  We do sell slats that can sit under the mattress so the mattress isn't on the floor.

Do you have this in full size?

Would this work for a 12 and a 9 year old?

Hi Diane.  Yes it would work.  The only age requirement is that a child should be at least six years old to sleep in the top bunk.  We're happy to answer any other questions you might have!

Is it possible to remove the rails that comprise the roof if a child no longer wants them as they get older?
